Vancouver was the logical first step in our comprehensive approach to archiving properties and providing up-to-date information about current rental suites. We are currently in the process of expanding this service to include Victoria, Nanaimo, Edmonton and Calgary.

Our Listings
At CanadianHomes4Rent.com, we work hard around the clock to compile a sizable, accurate listing of available apartments. We are the only rental database that solicits updated vacancy information from multiple sources; giving you a huge advantage in the competitive search for an apartment in BC. Our regular sources include all of the following:

• Newspaper classifieds Our staff calls every landlord listed in the newspaper and lists their up-to-date vacant apartments.
• Internet ads We search through every major Internet ad and then call the landlords to list their vacancies. To help us with this task, we have developed a unique date-sensitive search software specially tailored to the rental industry.
• Multiple listings (Exclusively ours): Commonly known as MLS, this is a very exclusive list available only to licensed real state brokers. It includes homes or condos owned by those who do not have the time or knowledge to show, credit-approve, and qualify a tenant--or who are simply not in town to do so. Such individuals often list their property with a realtor and pay him a fee, usually equal to one month's rent. Because realtors primarily concentrate on sales, they don't concentrate their energy on rentals; this makes MLS an excellent source for high quality properties.
• Drivers far and wide: We drive around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland of BC We list a large number of properties in the popular areas such as; Vancouver's West End, Kits, Kerrisdale, Marpole, MetroTown, New Westminister, Burnaby, Surrey and White Rock. Our drivers have pinpointed the residential areas in this territory, and they drive through it every other day looking for rent signs. This gives us access to the small landlord who has only one or two vacancies and is therefore not able to afford the high cost of classified ads.
• Property management companies: We solicit large property management companies that have several apartment buildings in their portfolios and make it easy for them to list their vacancies.
